Elevate excellence!

At Sacrifice of Praise 2018 we are asking God to take us to a higher level in every area of our lives including our worship. We are asking God to Elevate Excellence in our lives, in our church and in our communities!

“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”
— JOHN 14:12 NIV

The same power lives inside of us in the Holy Spirit and we should leave a mark everywhere we go. Excellence is leaving things better that we found them – spiritually, relationally, physically, financially, etc. Streams of living water should be overflowing from our lives everyday into our families, our schools, our jobs, our church and our communities!

As we prayed about the SOP this year God spoke the same thing through several different people. We love it when God uses the gifts of the Holy Spirit to bring confirmation! Here is the plan He gave us: Sacrifice of Praise 2018 will be a 3 day event: September 14th - 16th. This year we welcome Pastor Richard Marcello on Friday evening at our Sylva Campus and Pastor Nick Honerkamp on Saturday evening at our Rabun Campus. On Sunday morning we will meet at both locations for a time of prayer and worship before going out to Elevate Excellence in our communities. We are after all LifeWay COMMUNITY  Church!

Ask God what He would have you give this year at Sacrifice of Praise and then ask Him to provide it. Our Sacrifice of Praise offering will be used to Elevate Excellence in our current locations. We would like to dress up the exterior of our facilities and upgrade our signage, sound and transportation to name a few projects. Our elders and advisory team will prayerfully consider how to most effectively use everything that is entrusted to use. We plan to send the tithe of our Sacrifice of Praise with our team to Greece to help the ministry there Elevate Excellence. They have a few projects that they have asked us to consider supporting.
